Rachel Beeson – Head Teacher All Saints Interchurch VA Primary School
In the light of the many changes to education in the UK, the thing which remains a constant is the role of parents/carers as educators of their children. It can sometimes be hard to engage them. All Saints Interchurch VA Primary School, March, has been working to improve home and school collaboration through greater involvement of all stake holders at all levels.
The presentation ‘Home/School Partnerships - Keeping the Balance’ will explore what the difficulties have been and what can be done to break down barriers.
Rachel Beeson has had over 30 years experience in education with a proven track record of school leadership and improvement, including a period as a Locum Headteacher. This meant working in schools in challenging circumstance to affect rapid positive change. She is currently headteacher of All Saints Interchurch VA Primary School in March, Cambs. She has also had experience as an Ofsted Inspector, and is a Local Leader of Education, supporting schools vulnerable schools. All Saints is her second substantive headship.
